(File photo) May 06, 2021 CEBU City Mayor Edgardo Labella issued Executive Order (EO) 130 on Thursday, May 6, 2021, lifting the liquor ban that was imposed under EO 117 on Feb. 2, 2021.
Liquor ban in public places in Cebu City was enforced as one of the City’s safety measures against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
Under EO 130, which takes effect immediately, establishments serving liquor should observe the following conditions:
They should only accommodate up to 50 percent of their maximum capacity of seated customers at any given time, regardless of the floor area.
They should first secure a clearance from the Cebu City Emergency Operations Center before holding regular live entertainment in their premises.
